Product Description

Griseofulcin is not only an antibiotic commonly used in the clinical treatment of fungal infections of the skin and stratum corneum, but also in agriculture, it is also used in the control of fungal diseases.

Drug interaction

1. When taken with ethanol, this product can cause tachycardia, sweating and flushing of the skin, so it is not suitable for both.

2. When used together with warfarin, coumarin and other anticoagulants, this product may enhance liver metabolism and weaken the effect of anticoagulants, so the prothrombin time should be monitored to adjust the dose.

3. When used in combination with promirenone and phenobarbital, the antifungal effect of the product may be weakened, which may be related to the reduced absorption of the drug caused by barbiturates, the inactivation of the product by inducing liver enzymes and the decrease of blood concentration. Therefore, the use of such drugs with the product should be avoided.

4. The combination of estrogen contraceptives and this product can reduce the effect of oral contraceptives, which may be related to the enhancement of the metabolism of this drug in the liver and the reduction of blood drug concentration, so the use of both should be avoided.
